Expensive compared to the other place, however!

They tend to price a job when they see it, always worth dropping buy and asking them. Always cheaper for cash too ;)

one in widnes, my mates brother uses them alot. £35 a corner for a refurb and paint!

National Alloys - Alloy wheel repair and refurbishment specialists

im thinking of using them for mine.

I called into national alloys yesterday

£140 for four 17" audi alloys refurbed and sprayed black

They have a load of work on at the moment(a good sign) so i am taking the wheels down next week.

I will post up what the job was like:thumbup:

Please do as I'm lookingto have mine done at some stage. have you got kurb marks? I'm interested to see if they fill then or weld them.

I put the worst wheel in the boot when i went there

I showed it to the bloke and he said "no problem"

Didnt ask him what he was going to do to it though:D

The wheel in question has a fair bit of kurbing and the bloke who looked at it didnt seem botherd in the slighttest:thumbup:

This is good news, just trying to sort out some temp wheels so I can get my alloys off.

I actually started ripping paint of with the pressure washer the other day! It was at that point I decided that they were f*cked and needed a refurb!

If your going to National Alloys then I've got 2 spare fabia 16's you could borrow if that helps. Not sure about fitment for your A4 however.

A4 is 5x112 I think, cheers though :)

I have obtained some A4 steels with decent tyres today, so should see me fine!

Any idea if National take tyres off?

Edit: Just checked the site, they do it all for £35 a corner, bargain!

yeah, its part of the price!

I`m taking my 17" spiders to National Alloys very soon too!

I have just dropped all four wheels off with them, and they said they should be done Tue/Wed next week. Odd thing is, they said it will be only £30 each?...all the better if this is true, can`t wait now:)

What are you having done?

Im taking my wheels in the morning and would prefere a £20 price cut:thumbup:

I`m just having them done the standard silver, was considering anthracite, but I don`t think it suits a black car. Just thinking now, maybe he was quoting me ex VAT?...will wait and see anyway. Got a nice new pot of Poorboys wheel sealant, so will give them a few coats inside and out before going on too;)

Mine are very good, tyres were all the same way that I dropped them off at, but not balanced, so had to rebalance them at £20 for 4. But overall I`m happy, look so much better now they are on...will post pics soon:)

I just had the rims done so they had no tyres to take off and back on

but as veedubya says they dont balance the wheels if you take the rims in complete with tyres

I wouldnt know where to start getting photos loaded up onto the internet
