Well... finally got the Audi wheels to National Alloys...

Dropped off last Saturday, picked up Saturday just gone, so they had them a week. I called on Friday asking if they were done and was told that they were not?

Called again Saturday morning, said they were done.

Picked them up, and the lacquer is still soft. Why have they rushed them when I told them it would be a week before I could pick them up?

And the results... clearly a lot better than pre-refurb, but still not perfect, IMHO. Again, signs point to a rushed job. Possibly worth £35 a corner, but I won't be using them in the future :thumbdwn:

Babs totally agree. Brother inlaw had his s3 alloys done. All 4 done in a day and like you say they looked 100 times better than they did but not perfect. :(

The bloke who fitted my tyres told me that he had heard a fair few complaints about national alloys

Personally mine arent the greatest finish but for the money

you cant really complain

Sorry to say it, but I agree, don`t think I`ll use them again tbh. Does`nt help that 2 weeks after getting them done, something metal flew off a car wheel, while I was stationary in traffic, and took a nice chunk out of one of the front ones:mad:
