Hybrid users !!!!

Hi Guys

is the 3 bar map sensor a must for a hybrid turbo What advantages will i have if using this spec as below

CR trubo GT1756 Hybrid

Forge front mount

ECS S/M flywheel and clutch

PD150 inlet manifold

Jabba egr power pipe

Magnex decat + full system

PD160 intake and grenn cotton panel filter

PD130 INJECTORS and rocker gear

Depends on how much boost your looking at running as a 3Bar map sensor is only going to be able to give an output upto 2bar of turbo boost (3bar includes atmospheric pressure).

Hybrids run around 1.8bar so I'd guess you'll need one.

You don't want to be running sensors too close to the end of their range. It would be a safer bet.

2.5Bar in PD100

3.0Bar in vRS (PD130) and PD150's

No real point in running anything smaller than 3Bar with a hybrid. Even my Hybrid KKK is pulling 1.8Bar

I would go for the 3 bar one, IIRC Jason (Devonutopia) played with a 4 bar one at some stage but not sure if he kept it or not.

The Hybrid on the Fabia vRS Estate Unit18 Edition is using the stock sensor and it was never mentioned to me as a 'you gotta change this' by any of the tuners that touched it. The hybrids it had were a TurboDynamics stage 1 and later stage 2.

The mapper used by Unit18 mentioned that the sweetspot of that stage 2 hybrid was < 2 bar anyway so I cant see it being needed
