My heater controls dont have any lights? Which makes changing the heating at night a nitemare.... none of them light up, same with the ash try and the cig lighter ( still works tho)

i find it annoying that theres only one space for a can of juice, in the back, WTF?

Can i add cupholders from the Mk4 Golf in the dash?

The heater controls have got a bulb behind them which can be replaced.

If you have a simple heater set up with three dials then the middle dial can be pulled out, there is a bulb behind it which you can pull out of it's socket with some tweezers or a bit of rubber tubing. Halfords sell the right size bulb to replace it.

If you have a climatronic unit then getting the lights fixed is a bit more complicated, you will either have to get it fixed by a specialist or buy a replacement unit.

The ashtray has a bulb underneath the housing. You need to prise up the plastic trim around the gear knob and remove the ashtray from it's housing, you will see there are 4 screws holding the ashtray housing to the dash and gear knob area, unscrew these and remove the ashtray housing and there is a bulb attached to the bottom. The bulb and holder are one part though so you have to buy it from a dealer rather than somewhere like Halfords.

Regarding the cupholders - some models have a front cupholder between the front seats, next to the handbrake, it pops up when you push the panel. You could replace the centre console with one that has this on it.

Im wanting to add the orange courtesy lights that lights up the lower part of the centre console, next to the gear knob etc, how do i go about doing this??

My headlight leveling switch does not work, wont go up or down.?
