Should the cigar lighter be illuminated,sure it was on my previous Octy??:confused:

Mine isn't (MY08) and there doesn't seem to be anywhere fro light to come from

I was 99% sure that the "Green Surround" on my 2007 vRS did light up when my lights were switched on.

The previous owner of my car did actually use the lighter and it was all a little "mucky" inside.

So last time my car went in for something I asked them to fit a new lighter, which they did, however this one doesn't illuminate.

I was so sure that the old one did - I'll wait until my next service is due and get them to check it.

They no longer put in illuminated ring lighters as of MY 07 I think. My 06 has one, newer models don't.
