KKK Turbos: Where are they from?

Featured Replies

Just been trying to find out a bit about this company that makes the turbo for the Furby VRS but google doesn't give a lot. Is KKK a brand name. If so who makes the blowers and where?

Cheers! Plus no you are not mad for wanting a Focus RS. Looks terrific but I thought these type of Essex chariots were gone for good. Remember when Escort RS Cosworths were getting £20K insurance quotes. Anyway off topic!

Porsche use KKK turbo's I read somewhere

they are Japanese aren't they?

As far as I'm aware, they are a German manufacturer.

they are from the chocolate factory!!!

they are from the chocolate factory!!!

That would make sense, I do seem to melt them easy enough

i believe they use the k04 race turbo on the astra vxr too

perfectly good turbo's if you treat them right, seem to do fine on RS4's and RS6's :)

maybe they're not built down to the same economy as those fitted to the likes of the PD130 etc?

I was reading in autocar that they supply the turbo for the corsa 1.6 vxr too...

well i can honestly say ive never had any probs with my pd130 turbo but im lookin to upgrade mine shortly any ideas on which would be best ?

a garrett gt71 would see some serious power gains.
