Vrs Spoiler/Estate

Featured Replies

Ive been offered a Race blue estate from a dealer thats been hunting for a vrs For me but the only thing that puts me off the estate is the back end just doesnt look like it belongs to the rest of the car! Ive read a few threads on here where a few of you have added a spoiler to your estates, is the official skoda part the best looking and how much does this cost?

not sure about best looking as there arent many (any?) that have alternatives fitted in the UK. Im aiming to get mine done in the future, was quoted £350 fitted from the dealer or its £103 plus £13 for the glue. Im aiming to buy one and get it sprayed and fitted elsewhere.

I concur, the back end really is lacking that something special, I got my spoiler from a skoda dealer part no.FAA620001, £105ish iirc, had it painted and fitted at my local bodyshop for £80! bargain I thought.

I thought all VRS esatates came with a small spoiler containg the high viz brake light. Personally I think the estate is much better looking than the hatch. But each to their own.

I thought about the spoiler, but decided against it for the stealth look :)

Eeeuuw! Has anyone got a picture of this fitted to their estate, cos from the relatively close up pics on various websites, it looks vile!

Never seen that before. I really like it - think it's a nice subtle finisher.

Its does finish the car of nicely and the race blue one thats been posted really looks the part, why skoda never fitted this at the factory ill never know.

Cheers Sworrall. Yep, looks sh*te! I'm obviously in the minority but it looks very Halfords to me, if you know what I mean.

I think it's tricky trying to 'jazz up' certain things on an estate car as if it's a hatchback, as they're always gonna look like a working car, which is what they are. Otherwise people would buy a hatchback if they didn't want to utilise the extra boot space surely? I know I did.

Looks good, bit pricey though?
