It's in the Highlands, just south of Inverness. I'm an ecologist, I was there doing bird surveys to see what birds of prey are up to in the area. It's been a very quiet week, so I've been taking loads of photos :)

Very bleak... but beautiful :thumbup::)

It is very bleak ... where I'm parked is 6 miles from the nearest road, and the track I turned off goes on for about 20 miles I think. Great fun if you like off-roading (and not seeing another soul all day) :D

That's lovely.

That's not the middle of nowhere - it's the middle of Gods own country , slightly south/south east of the best part .:thumbup:

Great pictures there Kay. It's nice to see people who really enjoy their job. Kinda why I like mine as most of a day can pass without speaking or seeing anyone.

Cracking pics Kay.

the squirrels were in the garden everyday at the place I stay. They come out of the woods opposite and onto the bird feeders :)
