how easy is it to change sump on octy VRS

Featured Replies

There is a reason that Rally Cars have an undertray that you have to knock dents out of with a Sledge Hammer :rolleyes:

Glad you got it sorted and that it wasnt "too" expensive.

Got the "Plane" back yesterday all working ok and checked out fine.

Cost me just over £200 including a new sump, 5 ltrs oil and filter, couple of bulbs and a fix to the plastic tray.

Local garage thought it was funny too.

Looking forward to getting a 3' x 2' picture for my office.

:rofl::rofl::rofl:

Just remember "Captain Gaz" a good pilot is defined as one who as the same number of takeoff as sucessful landings!

Glad you are sorted without too much damage & cost! Although £200 for a 3' x 2' photo might seem a bit steep!

My mate (who is a pilot!) did something similar in his Mk IV Golf a few years back, only his "landing"caused the airbags to deploy! His bill for his "flying photo" was a lot more than yours:O

You can almost smell the fear ;)

I've got to know; is adrenaline brown and sticky? :rolleyes:

No after effects just the thought "Oh **** this might hurt" when several feet higher than you expect !!

Makes you feel a bit red faced when trying to explain to the Mrs what you have done, still havn't told her the full story though ;)

Can't see the plate ? It's private anyway so wouldn't be on the car when selling :)
