Lightened Flywheel

Featured Replies

Hello

My clutch is slipping on my VRs with a custom code on it, I am looking at getting the Jabbasport lightened flywheel and uprated clutch kit. Anyone had one? Is it worth the extra outlay??

Heard good things about their clutch! I run a US imported clutch setup, and the ultralight flywheel included with it is awesome.

Is it a Spec3 setup your running Jason? Or am i totally wrong (as per usual :D)

pretty sure j runs a spec stage 3+

thought that.......dont know why i missed out the "stage" bit

a spec stage 3 clutch isn't the same as a stage 3+ ;)

Indeed! It's like saying a leon cupra isn't the same as a leon cupra R - similar kind of, but the R kicks more butt. :)

i run the jabba kit you mention, after the pressure plate killed itself on my spec stage 3+ ,the only differences between the jabba and stock are a little bit of chatter from the smf,and the clutch is about 20% heavier it seems very good:thumbup:

A LOT more money than I paid thanks to the weakening £ against the $. Cost me £600 all in when I got mine about 18 months ago or so :) but it was $2:£1 back then.... I went direct to Spec in USA - Was quite amusing speaking to them on the phone as they had one of the deepest South accents ever!
