a mate just bought a 20vt golf, and looking throught the various sites came across r-tech who is fairly local to us, the golf gti forums are saying that they are very good both in maps and customer service ( if your changing your engines parameters you want peace of mind) i am a bit standoff ish when it comes to maps from ppl i not know much about, i have also a tdi 140 leon thats now 185bhp and 290lbft c/o revo, but revo is more £££, so do i just stick with what i know or go cheaper, but is cheaper crapper or could it be better???

when i bought my car only 2 weeks ago i was @ awesome gti within 20 mins looking at shiny bits and enquiring about their maps too they are a bit more than revo but not as agressive low down......

What to do?

and is it best to sort the breathing out first i.e ind kit ( carbonio c/o awesome ) and cat back before remap, or will the map re-learn and adjust if done after.

so as you can tell i'm well and truly confused.com lol

Never used R-Tech but I've contributed to a couple of threads that Nick has contributed to and I reckon he's one of the good guys

i have got a map on one of mine that was done by them and its fine pulls well all the way to the redline:thumbup:
