Pics of my Favorit a few days after buying in Dec 2008 and the attached ones after it was washed and waxed.

Yes the engine is "only a 67BHP 1.3" not likely to impress the vRS brigade :D but its nippy and pulls well.

What have I done to it so far:-

  • Clutch cable fitted to get it moving on the day I bought it
  • Wheels and trims off my former Felly. 2xFulda EcoControl on the rear, 1xFirestone and 1xKumho 165/70 R13 tyres
  • Radio changed
  • Boot struts changed (scavenged from the Felicia)
  • Front strut brace fitted (scavenged from the Felicia)

Planned

  • Wiring in the parcel shelf speakers
  • Wiring in the cig lighter socket

Thats about it so far.

Thanks but I just put the pics up to show off my wheels

I was a bit surprised to see my car there for a cotm vote, thats one section I haven't actually visited until now!

It's nice to see the Roomsters and Favorits in the mix of all the vRS and Octys :D

Think I need to blacken the bumper, door handles and boot to really make it stand out proud.

pics of the scavenged strut brace from the Felicia.

Had to use my milling tool to widen the holes but anyone who looked under the bonnet on Briskoda Super raly Day saw my Favorit 1.3 with the strut brace fitted on Saturday!!!:D

Love your car mate! So does SWMBO. Saw you at The National! were you really the only Favorit there??

On the bumper front, have you seen / heard of the air gun method? It actually turns the bumper black again rather than trying to cover it up.

It is very tidy :)

Car is looking good mate.
