Anyone gone for a golf gti style grille surround?

Featured Replies

How do,

Apologies if this is some form of repost, though first day on the forum and the search results don't come back with any info!

I should be purchasing my VRS within the next week, so starting to consider how to make the car my own.

The basic mods I will 100% be carrying out are lowering and powdercoating the wheels.

What I can visualise in my mind though, is a black mesh grille (with the vrs badge only, no skoda badge) and a red surround, giving it the golf gti mk5 look.

Has this been done before? If so, PICS please :D

Hmmmm.............dunno how that would look.

Do it when you get the car, its all about being individual

How did you get/make the big VRs badge on your radiator?

It looks rather nice

Im thinking of going for the open mouth look and that logo looks sweet:thumbup:

Hi okeh, thanks for the positive comment and to answer your question i did the intercooler by making a vrs stencil and just spraying it on :)

That looks really tasteful. And it's totally in keeping with the Skoda/Green detail colour scheme. 10/10:thumbup:

That looks shweet

I wonder......hhmmmm...........think i might give this a bash :D

How did you do the pinstriping? I thought a while ago about having one in red on my grill. Did you disassemble the grill and apply tape?
