It does seem to have a bit of a gap between the tyre and the arch but its ok as its got a button that has three settings for the suspension comfort/normal/sport so its got the best of both worlds a nice soft setting for everyday driving and a harder setting when going for it, the steering gets tweeked a bit as well.

This one's the 140 the 170 is out this month but a £1000 more.

The new 'rocco's are bee-ootiful - I am very jealous mate! Saw white one t'other day and it was gorge.

I too am moving from skoda Fabia to Scirocco. Sick of waiting for the vrs version.

I was the first person to order the 170 but have been waiting 6 weeks already and have to wait until August til I get it! Pewter Grey. Still not sure if I've ordered the right colur though.

He admitted they got a lot fo business out of the old one and want a new one as muchas we do

He reckons its internal VAG politics they dont want Skoda stealing Vws thunder as theyve brought out a load of new models like the rocco and mk6 golf

Roccos very nice by the way one of the few other new cars Id consider although I like the green colour Viper green is it?

We have three Fabia vrs. My wife may be changing her vrs SE for a Scirocco ealy next year if a new vrs doesn't appear.

I rate the 170 CR as a very smooth, revvy engine. I've a VW Tiguan 170 - had an Octavia 2.0PDi before and was looking at the Octavia vrs but there was a long wait. The garage could source a Tiguan immediately - one being shipped, but the original garage order was cancelled. The original Octavia was totally reliable whereas the VW has been back to the garage 3 times in 6 months. As said the touch screen radio is v good. It is appearing on Skodas as well. The Scirocco always gets very good write-ups - if a little wide, and is a good price. If the new Fabia vrs is not a diesel (some reports say it will be the 140 petrol, which is powerful) we won't get it.
