Body Kit for Skoda Fabia

Featured Replies

WRC rally kit if you have a spare £3500 ;)

Hello,

Its only an idea, but having a (2005) Fabia VRS my spare wheel was a full sized steel road wheel covered with a normal road tyre, 205x45 R16 83W.

If you got a set of four possibly sourcing Fabia VRS owners who swapped this steel to an alloy, such as I have, would both upgrade your wheels and tyres as the cash flow moves along.

Mine is black nice and shiny and sitting in the garage. I assume everyone elses would be in the same condition.

Its strange as this spare wheel had a sticker stating a 30MPH speed restriction, when I contacted Skoda and a tyre fitting company both said they could not explain as why ?? Both agreed speed was in-line with alloy wheels and wheel was balanced having lead weights fitted. Sorry I'm rambling. As said just an idea.

Good-luck. Ian. 01/05/2009

As already stated, as your first car its going to cost a fortune to insure. Best bet is to keep it standard and clean. Get a lot of respect just for keeping a standard car very clean these days. once you have a years NCB then get some wheels and springs, my wheels cost me £150 and springs were £90 delivered.

job done and its a nice looking car.

just my 2p's

My car probably isnt even worth that much :D

Here's a little before and after inspiration for you from another members NON vRS Fabia,

If it doesn't go by default, look at post 23.

For a "now" picture of the back just go back to the top.

:)

Holy **** how much would it cost to get my car to look like that?

What colour is your car?

I have some vRS bumpers - They were damaged but have now been fixed. The front bumper now also has a 'big mouth'.

Let me know if this helps.

Silver. How much would you want for the set?

Thanks again for the replies, think you lot just saved me a sh** load of money!

My car is a Silver 53 plate 1.2 Petrol, how much do you reckon I could trade it in for? and how much roughly is a second hand Fabia vRS?

Agree with everyone else regarding the alloys and lowering. Also Id say keeping it nice and clean goes a long way. Mines only a 1.4MPi, but I got some 2nd hand alloys from a Mk1 Leon, cleaned em up abit, put some mid range rubbers on them, and already it looks alot nicer! And its not even lowered! Yet :D

I'm not the owner, but I know ALLOT of small detail's gone into that car to make it the jaw dropper it is.. but I was using to to show what lowering, Nice wheels (although, his are veeeeeery nice) and vRS bumper set can do for a Fabia.. note he has no aftermarket body kit & no sills.

And because they're Skoda OEM parts they fit with very little trouble or effort.. you really could fit them your self with a mates help. You'd have to get em painted still though ;) Unless your Fabia's a vRS colour?

Paint and DIY can radically change the look of your fabia for little cost.. the Lights with the black are standard units modified. THe black fog surrounds are again just a bit of well placed paint and the de-chromed and body coloured grille surround again is just paint..

should point out though, his bumper is smoothed with the plate removed but I think it was a standard vRS bumper before that.

TBH I have absolutely no idea, I'm only 19 and this is my first car (and the only car I will be able to afford in the forseeable future).

At the moment I'm just looking to get a body kit, then will move on to tyres, wheels, lowering etc

How much would you recommend to spend?

i would say to make it look right u,l be spending at least a £1000 maybe a touch more :D

im in the same pos as you and im up to £800 so far

Anybody got any vRS front bumpers going spare still?

:)
