VRS front spoiler.

Featured Replies

Is it possible to buy just the bottom part of the VRS spoiler to fit to a standard bumper? I notice there is a seam that on some cars I have seen looks like it's added on. If so wher do you get it, how much and is it worth it or am I better with the real deal ie a VRS bumper, Cheers.

It's a completely different bumper. I always thought that it was a spoiler as well,.. but the vRS front bumper is much more pronounced (it's why they have that fat lip look that lowers so nicely). I heard it was like this because it had to meet the minimum length to be legal to rally or something like that?

So it's a whole bumper I'm afraid if ya want one! There's always the GT spoiler for the standard pre 2005 bumper but these are hard to come by now, especially now the grilles for them are dis-continued!.. prob is easier to find a vRS bumper TBH.

the "added on" bit could be the splitter from a Seat Leon Curpa R

pics and fitting guides are here

and i'm pretty sure it'll go onto a non-VRS Fabia with a bit of persuasion

there is also a group buy being organised so you could get one cheaper than normal

hope this helps

My understanding is that the bumper is 2-part on the vRS - the standard bumper is underneath and then there is a second part bonded on top of it. It is possible to buy just the extra bit and glue it on, I think. Of course, knowing Skoda, it's all special parts.

its all in one piece

it is a completly different bumper, which is the reason jason changed his tdi bumper for a vrs one, there is more space for the intercooler.

It's the rear bumper thats a two piece number!

I stand corrected. Thanks.
