Cruise control is pretty trivial to retrofit. A dealer can do it for you for somewhere in the region of £150 I think, or you can buy the part, fit it yourself and code it with VCDS. Or Octavia-vrs.com.

Centre armrest isn't such good news. It would be expensive to buy the parts from a dealer so ebay would be your best bet, as discussed in another thread, they do crop up on there... Genuine SKODA OCTAVIA FRONT ARM REST on eBay, also Centre Consoles Dashboards, Interior Styling, Car Tuning Styling, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 08-Feb-09 17:06:36 GMT)

My VRS is booked into the dealer to have cruise control fitted in a cpl of weeks. Its costing £160 all in

My dealer has quoted me £62 for the cruise stalk and approx 2hrs to fit @ £70 an hour plus VAT !!!!!!

Rip-off. Offer them 150 - 160 quid all in. If they want to keep you happy and make some money they'll do it. If not, take your cash elsewhere.

speak to lummox on here for cruise control.

It sounds like you've got the pre-free upgrade version of the vRS.

Have you also got 17" Zenith's rather than 18"?

In 2007 Skoda started offering a free equipment upgrade on the vRS.

Jumbo Box

Rear Electric Windows

18" Zenith

Climatronic over Climatic AC

Sounds like you car comes from just before that equipment went standard.
