Do you think these would suit a VRS?

Featured Replies

Saw these a while back - been thinking about them on and off for ages! I would need adapters and new tyres to make them fit. But they are pretty cheap for the wheels

Depends on the size really

17's and if the Fabia is a sensible colour yes, most definitely.!

I'm going to say 'no', but I've been very wrong about this sort of thing before...go for it I say

They are 7.5x16 et 40 - 5x112 stud pattern and they are off a VW Phaeton!!!

Hmmmm - I was thinkin 17's myself.

16's is still possible, stretched rubber to make them look a touch bigger and a big drop! The cars gonna have to be Black or Silver IMO though.

i've got a black VRS with a 55/45mm drop at the moment

Sounds like a good base to me!

Sum1 photoshop them on2 a Fabia!! Plz!!

Dunno, would need to see a photoshop :D

how's this? (Thanks to Jasc for the snap of his car! ;))

Althought i'd be concerned that the pics appear to have been taken on the floor in a public toilet

Different... i think they could work.

I'm going to say...... YES, go for it.

for real sir, lve this style might go down this road myself

not the kind of wheels I'd go for, but I can see them looking good on someone else's!

God Yes!

IMHO, if you painted/coated them white and put them on it would look very good. They would then look like Compomotive Motorsport TH alloy wheels. The wheels would look the best on a black car or any other except a silver one.

Hard to tell without actually seeing them on the car and depending on the colour, but I'm intrigued and think they would look quite good and original, so I say "go for it"!

i think they look smart mate!! go for it!! old skool cool :D

May have to just do it! However they tyres on them are 195/45/16 Yoko's! Doh wrong size!

195 will give a slight stretch compared with 205's, so not really a bad thing, i'd use them until the tyres needed replaced.

Seen these on Golf Mk4s and 5s before and I'm a fan - think it could work on the Fabia too. They fit a very similar wheel in 17 to the A8 I believe, if this has given anyone ideas and want them a little bigger :)

Run a hubcentric 20mm spacer, giving a 20 offset and a little stretch with 195s - job's a good 'un

Here's the A8 version on a Mk5 - quite similar design:

Those have been smoothed and are epic IMO. These are them standard, ET48 and 17s - still 5x112 of course but more room for an adaptor with a higher offset :)

The wheels are erotique! Definitely go for it. The A8s are not that bad too.
