'Clunk'ing drivers seat Fabia or similar ?

Featured Replies

Hi, The drivers seat on my Roomster (same type as that on my previous fabia) has starrted clunking when I set off from rest. Not a major problem I know, but has anyone experienced this issue on this or a similar skoda, and have you found a solution. Not sure if the problem is in the sliding seat rails or the joint of the two halves of the seat itself.

If you grab the seat and rock it (whilst not sitting in) it does make a bit of a clunk, just one of those annoying yet unexpected things

Is is worthy of a mention at the dealer, will they be happy enough to investigate under warranty or will I be bothering them ??

Paul

I have had this issue in my fabia. It's a small fault but very irritating :thumbdwn: Apparently its the seat hight adjuster. My seat was faulty and they sorted it under warrenty.
