Featured Replies

Hi everyone,

Been on here a while but aint been on much.

I'm currently driving a lupo gti with the only mod being fk silverlines. Its a fantastic example and has really low miles to for its year. (02 reg - 42k)

Anyway i've always liked the vrs and someone at work has a black one.

Just want to know what people think? Bit silly asking on an owners forumn but hey!

The lupo is great but im quite attracted to the fabia vrs for some reason. IS there any common faults with these? Anything to look out for?

Anyhelp would be greatly apreciated

Cheers

Hello and welcome, having never had a Fabia vRS, which is I presume is the car you talk of all I'm certain about is the door seals. Best off searching and asking in the Fabia section.

Hi :D

Welcome to Briskoda

Terrific little cars. Yes there are a few common faults like suspension bushes but generally very reliable and even a bog standard 130 car shifts with loads of torque. A lot of the boys re-map their cars but if you look at a re-mapped car make sure it has been done by a decent company and you have rolling road print outs. Also ask for documentary proof that it has had the correct 505.01 5w 40 PD oil put in on service and top up THIS IS ESSENTIAL as the top end is very highly stressed and needs the special oil.

Welcome along and check out the Fabia 1 forum for everything Fabia VRS.
