Remembering back to the 80's I feel sure that I saw the Estelle get a road test on Top Gear. They were not that happy with it I recall, but does anyone actually remember what model they tested and what they said? I seem to recall that it was a maroon one with vinyl roof...

Don't know about TG but if you want a good mag group test get hold of The best of Car Magazine 70s & 80s. They are quit complimentary but it was up against the Reliant Robin & 2cv!

Thank you for those clips. That's when Top Gear was a popper motoring show about cars and not this modern entertainment show about races across Europe or how fast it goes around the airfield track.
