Sounds like they already decided to break it. Probably worth more in parts than as a whole if they can manage to sell the bits. I do wonder what it failed the MOT on though.

From the looks of it, theres loads of rust all over.. my guess is that there's rust on the base as well, might be the reason for failing MOT..

We've scrapped a few like that this year. When they come in as part exchanges, you can't retail them and the trade doesn't want them, it's easier to weigh them in for £60 or so. We scrapped an X Felicia not that long ago.

Last week it was an R reg Mazda automatic. We tried it through the auction first, with no bids. One of its' previous owners was a well known actor.

Get a 1.3 engine/Head Gasket fix at a good price and away you go.
