can anyone help plz. the speedo on my 52 octavia vrs is under reading [standard size tyres etc], at 30 on the clock road speed is approx 32mph...the difference increases with speed, at 60mph [clock] my actual road speed is approx 69mph. this is reduces the clocked mileage on the odeometer also..has anyone any suggestions.

I think you need to post in the Octavia I section to be honest mate. You will get a better chance of a response to your enquiry. What are you using to compare the speed? GPS?

FYI a speedo should generally read ~10% above actual speed.

Is it running standard wheels?

Moved to octavia I forum as tech shed is usually reserved for PCs, HD TVs, cameras, and other non auto related techie things.

First thing I would check by the way, is the correct tyre size is fitted.
