Look...another clutch thread !

Featured Replies

No, i dont need to know what clutch is a best replacement etc.. :P

But...how many more miles can my poor clutch take ?

It's been slipping since it was probably on pre 100k miles when Col still owned the car, i've got a replacement DMF and OEM clutch waiting to go on...

But every time i think it's about time to get it swapped over, it ups the game and has a new lease of life.

Last month it was slipping really bad, and now it seems quite happy with itself.

Have i got a Willy Wonka everlasting clutch ?

It's not (and still doesn't) get an easy life...so just not sure how long it's going to keep trundling along. :D

I've even turned to booting it from low revs and it just stays alive.

Curently on 129k. Standard/Original clutch/DMF. ;)

Remapped blah blah blah....

Still not got it changed yet....

Thats quality.

If it aint broke, dont fix it.

Wait untill you can no longer drive it. :D

Aye..still sitting in the garage awaiting failure. :D

Yep, gonna keep it going till it dies.

Then, when the new clutch is in, it'll feel like a remap being able to use all the power :D :D

wow, I thought mine was on its way at 64,000 miles lol. The thrust bearing is knocking like mad tho.

Mines just ticked over 118k miles and still going strong

it must be how you drive. with the slight throttle delay on the fabia, if you get the bite before the throttle kicks in, there is very little clutch slip.

why does the clutch sound like there is a bag of smarties in it?
