hi well im back yet again! i was driving back from work and all of a sudden the temp gauge went straight up to 130' and the collant light came on i pulled up straight away and water was leaking. waited 3hrs for the beloved AA. they told me its either the thermostat or water pump after shining a torch under the bonnet for 5 min. just woundered does any one know the price's of a thermostat or worsed case a price for water pump or the best place to buy from?? vrs wanting help hate seeing her parked up in the garage

water pump is probably about £20-30, but involves a cambelt change..... so most of the cost is there.

I changed my TDi waterpump when I did the cambelt (2nd belt change at 120k), got everything from GSF.
