Just pickup myself an LCR splitter form my local Seat dealer for £17!

I've used the search function, but havent been able to find a how to guide - anyone got any tips???

You must have used the wrong keywords as "splitter fitting" brought up this guide that I was vaguely aware of

Get a mate to give you a hand its much easier when positioning the splitter to mark it for cutting the edges and screwing on

Use stainless steel fixings or they'll rust away in a few months.
