got a vrs

Featured Replies

i sold my fabia vrs yesterday and bought a 02 octavia vrs, fssh, 38k miles, miltek cat back system, new discs and pads last year, very good condition, previous owner had it from 1 yr old. very happy with it and i will post some pics when i get some decent weather.

i have orded a carbonio cai so will i need the forge 007p as i plan to get a rarb fitted then a remap not sure which one yet? should i get custom or generic.

would a decat pipe be worth fitting?

cheers matt

de cat ??? not unless you know the fella who is doin the mot or you want to bolt the cat back in every year and yuo want the EML on? unless you vagcom it out.

just go fot eh 2.5" DP and 200 cell cat that passes and is free flowing. lol or the Miltec one with the 3" DP

Now I got a good map I can only say custom mate.

If you got the DP and everything then custom will get the most out of it all. even if it was all std I still go custom as I dont like generic ones(Ive had 3 and all ahve been **** all from diff places)

You dont need the DV mate but it is nice for the noise, when you get it remapped you may need the yellow spring(I dont but might get it when I can afford)

The rear ARB is a must IMHO as it makes the car totally diff.

all best

thanks for that

Congrats on the new car

Custom map is the way to go if you are on about changing the intake and exhaust. As Billy said de-catting is more trouble than it's worth, you can just get a sports cat which will pass the MOT.
