Owned My VRS a month now

Featured Replies

Hi,i'm new here.Bought a 2005 on a 54reg a month ago.Went on look for an estate to replace my 01Astra DTi est, found overpriced stuff around.By chance saw an add for Octavia Vrs 1.8est in black for 4k.Fell in love as soon as saw it-1 owner, full service history(every 10K),100k on clock n not a mark.Garage put new cambelt kit on,full service and MOT,6 months warranty and took my dying astra in px.

In the past month i have driven with a constant grin:):D on my face, bored the pants off my familly and think i have done well.

I have fitted a cold air induction kit so sounds the part.

My mate has a Subaru and i feel i have a better deal as he keeps telling me he can only afford to drive to and from work which he does as if he was a grandad.

I have a few questions-anything to look out for in regards to possible problems, what oil do i use in engine and if i took the rear silencer off and fitted a stainless sport can-would this be detrimental?

Any help appreciated.:):) :D:D:thumbup:

I know how you feel, I have been driving mine for 4 days now and I have a constant grin on my face aswell!!

Welcome :)

Sounds like you got a good deal there :)

:Dstill grinning.

Mine still makes me grin after nearly 3 years :D

I've owned many cars. T-sport corolla, Pug 106 rallye, Opel manta, Scooby wrx, Civic vti but the vrs is the best of them all. By far my favourite!
