A couple of gripes though.

1/ Ride quality seems pretty damn hard - wasn't expecting that !

2/ I hate the skinny, plasticy steering wheel.

Any Skoda steering wheel covers out there that you recommend?

Anybody know roughly how much for a 53K annual service, and whether there is a big difference in price between fixed/variable servicing costs ?

Planning to get the timing belt etc changed at 70K /4 years

not so much cover but replacement steering wheel, im guessing its the 4 spoke?

I'd just get a proper leather wheel from a VRS / Elegance from ebay or somewhere.

Replacement steering wheel sounds like a good idea, except for the issue of air bag and proper alignment of a replacement wheel. Sounds like a nightmare to do !
