Login Code Skoda Fabia Combi (2008)

Featured Replies

Hi,

I just got Vagcom yesterday and I am trying to find the login code (Menu item: Login - 11) for my Skoda Fabia Combi (sept. 2008). Unfortunately I don't know where I can find it.

Can anyone tell me where to find this code or know this code?

Thanks in advance :)

I don't think you need it for the standard VAG-COM functions. It may be necessary for hacking the ECU, but that's not something I'd know about!

If anything's 'locked' it'll probably be because you're on the shareware version.

What are you trying to do?

Hi,

I don't know what I am trying to do, just checking all the menus :P

I just got the program/cable yesterday and saw this function yesterday when I was testing it out.

It's about this screen: ' Enter login code'

I am not using a shareware-version, it's a registered version.

Personally if you don't know what you are doing, I would not put any numbers in, as you can do a lot of damage with Vag-com, stick to just doing scans etc

I know from trying to resurrect my old HU that entering the wrong login doesn't do anything other than what's described in the box you show. Although as I say, I'm at a loss to understand why you're so keen to do it...???

OK.

You only usually need login to change settings that could potentially bugger things up (eg: cahnging module coding or adaption), and usually when you find the procedure on what values to change they list the login as well.

Look at this example on the Ross-Tech Wiki , or this from VRStu's site for expamples on a Fabia Mk1 or similar car.

If you haven't already, autoscan the car to record your current coding.

If you want to play and do no harm, do some data logging with measurung blocks. Recording a journey home from work can be interesting, depending on your peak RPM/MPH and boost

Different login codes do different things. 11463 activated Cruise Control in the ECU.

Don't go playing if you don't know what you are doing.. could land you in a serious mess, especially on a car that's under warranty.
