no mate these are the first that have been made for the vrs

the ones you have is the complete tip silicone to turbo which is not what i have got made:rolleyes: as yours is jubillee cliped to the turbo and will have the tendancy to blow off where as the one made is identical to the oem part already there

and the intercooler one you have is for a jetta and isnt the same as the oem part

the hoses on garry c's car are probably off a mk4 golf which shares the same engine and layout. thats what the set of samco's i have is off of. the forge tip is also labelled up for a mk4 golf. my mate just bought one from awesome not so long ago.

the tip stands for turbo intake pipe. so it will not be subject to any pressure and there for can not be "blown off" its under vacum!!!

I think a rough guide price is needed here as lets say it turns out to be £250 then possibly most of the list would pull out therefore the price for the ones willing to pay £250 could go up to say £300 and then more may pull out etc etc.

On the other hand if you say a kit will cost £175 then the list could double and therefore the prica may drop even more so happy days.

Just a rough guide price if you can.

no price can be given until ive fitted mine to ensure the kit is a complete match...

and mate if you think you are going to get the complete kit for £175 you might aswell jog on buddy aint going to happen..

Well other manufacturers sell their turbo hoses for £120ish and coolant hoses for £180ish... and with the heater matrix hoses and the tip in... guess we'll have to see...

So looks like the RRP should be around £300ish. Lets see if buying 20 sets in one go will get us a discount

I hope so, i quite like the idea of green.

Can sell my black set on after and hopefully the Mrs wont notice the bank balance wobble, lol.

its the same as you original pipe so will fit straight into the metal tip that is on your car

as stated in one of the 1st posts its a list of people that are INTERESTED in the samco hose sets. its not a list of people that will be comitted to buy the kits.

i for one, could not afford say the £500 for the 3 sets that iam after (iam doing 2 cars) in one go. so there for i would have to buy them once a month or something. but iam showing my interest so that iam kept up to date with details of number of hoses and the price of each kit when they become available.

keep us up to date westallc, cant wait to see the pics of the fitted hoses.

to behonest if you decided not to get them or anyone else for that matter im not to concerned as i have mine just trying to get you guys a good price but these things are not cheap to make....
