Dont know if its just the angle mate but try a bit of Lemon juice(bottle) on the back bumper black strip, might help get it back to black as I found mine goin like that as the products go off after a while.

if not mate then yea It does work, well does on mine mate, takes everything off. things like polishes , waxes n stuff. mine stareted to go funny fron back to black n stuff like that and Fastkwak said to use it so I did n it worked a treat.

Mines a GK52 as well, originally from Ashford in Kent.

Not sure if this was my mates old car,he lives in west yorkshire[is that near you]He painted the grill like yours and had a removable tow bar like yours.If it is i bought my yellow vrs because i liked that car so much:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

Yes that is my old car, I miss it now I have looked at the photos, was a great car, only bother I had was the ARB, fitted a new skoda one and bushes about a year ago so you should not see any problems with that!!
