Coil Spring Part Number

Featured Replies

My car has just failed on a fractured front coil spring, its a '99 Octavia 2.0 petrol. GSF are telling me that they dont stock the spring for that car, and I need the Skoda part number for them to check it against.

Can anyone tell me what the part number would be or where I can find out?

Cheers

Look for some paint marks on the spring. We need the colours and amount of dots. part number can then be obtained.

E.g 2 pink & 3 green

i did a quick search on ETKA, there are about 22 different front spring number / colour codes for a 99' Xreg Octavia hatchback.

Yep he needs to find the colours to identify the part number.

Springs should always be replaced in pairs.
