I thought I would have had an indication when running low on fluid, but seems not ?

Oh yes you have, on top of Maxi Dot, yellow coloured.

You have a report on Vehicle Status (or something similar) readable through MaxiDot.

BTW In these days it keeps blinking on mine, since a tube pumping water to front lamps keeps disconnecting... grrr.

Hmmm that's what I thought - and was looking out for it, but didn't get any indication even when it was dry....

Would expect a yellow light and a gentle 'bong'

You only get the warning light if you have the headlamp washers fitted - you get the 5 litre reservoir too.

LE's won't have it then as I am pretty certain they couldn't be specced with xenons and headlight washers.

Yeah, mine has the standard headlamps and I got no warning when my washer bottle was empty. It is a bit annoying as my old VW Bora used to tell me and that didnt have xenons.:thumbdwn:

It a PITA, and my Fabia vRS had it....

Agreed its a PITA. I just top mine up weekly irrespective of how often Ive used it as you cant tell how much is left at any time. Not run dry yet . I think its big omission really as my Fabia VRS had it as standard.
