coolant help please

im losing coolant at the moment about a 1/2 litre a day just noticed there seem to be a leak at were 2 metal pipe run into the car below the 2 thin metal pipes at the rear off the engine.

whats the problem and how do i fix it ?

mines a fabia vrs 1.9tdi on a 53

Really need a picture of the area you are talking about. Nothing springs to mind.

I've got a coolant loss problem but its very little and then the next day its a lot, aint half a litre though. Like moggy has said, dont know where your on about

well ill get one up soon my guess it leads the heater matrix it goes through the silver heatshield to the cabin its a pair off 3/4 " silver pipes

Sounds a bit like heater water pipes - but where is the actual leak - are there no pipe clips that can be tightened or misplaced steel pipes that have been rubbing against something!

the leak is coming just from inside the bulk head then dripping down, the pipes lead inside ehere you can not see

Nah dont take it there. I'm replacing those two pipes. I'll post the link up to my solution

Looks like the two pipes that go to the heat matrix.

Yep they sure are. Check where the pipes join, from rubber to metal. If there dry then stick some rad dye in like me and you'll soon see the leak
