driver's door fault

Featured Replies

I've had a number of problems with my electrics.

Basically fuse 14 was blowing and taking the remote locking, windows, roof and interior lights with it.

I tried various things, but today I managed to get it all working with a 30a fuse instead of the 10a. I ran vag com and retrieved the code:

00928 - Locking Module for Central Locking: Front Driver Side (F220)

27-00 - Implausible Signal

I put a 10a fuse back in and, so far, all is well apart from the door open dash light is still staying on and the red/white door light is not working.

It appears to me there is a short in the driver's door probably around the door lock mechanism. Could be the microswitch?

Anyone else got any oter ideas?

Hello. Did you mange to get the fault fixed?

When I opened my car this morning I noticed that the red 'puddle' light on the driver's door, the 'door open' indicator on the dash and the overhead interior light did not work. I will have to investigate....

I see we have two things in common - both in Aberdeen with 4*4 turbo estates!

Cheers

Scott
