Opinions Required:Superb Alloys

Featured Replies

Hi all, I am thinking of changing my alloys for a set of RS6 Replicas, would anyone have any advise as to whether I should go for the 17's or 18's as I am not sure how they will affect the ride quality. Any pics of Superbs with upgraded alloys would be appreciated. Thanks

17's seemed OK on mine...but it does leave a gap round the wheel arch so it looks like it needs lowering

18s ok on mine, ride alot harder espcially with lower springs but not too hard, nice comprimise i think.

Deek72 had some RS6 replicas on his old Superb. Hope he doesn't mind me posting this pic:

Don't think that's lowered though - looks to be sitting higher than mine.

Forgot to say - looks like they were 18's:

17'' on mine, lowered a good -30mm too. I don't reckon it looks too bad but I think 18'' alloys would fill the arch better. 19'' alloys would look better still but then you've got to buy 19'' rubber and costs mount.

Here's mine with 17''...

Thanks very much for the replies, much appreciated. Plenty of food for thought!

I have a set (4) of RS6 19" going spare if anyone's interested. 3 wheels good, 1 with 2 small repairable cracks on rim. 1 almost new tyre, 2 others usable.

Any proceeds to kids' home in Sri Lanka. PM me if interested - but allow 2/3 days for a reply!

(Now changed to 17"s - more practical for daily use)
