Hmm noticed today that when i loose off the accelerator i can hear a slight whistling noise coming from the engine bay... also seemed to do it a bit when accelerating

this normal? don't think i've noticed it before!

normal, turbo and/or egr valve

i don't know if its normal but my one does that aswell

phew thought it would probably be turbo related but reading on these forums i've become a little paranoid its going to pop

It's normal. Have you had the window open for the first time?

probably been a while since i've had the stereo off and the windows down so wouldn't be surprised if that's it
