Front passenger side wheel bearing needs replacing, and its getting done tomorrow at a cost of £120,

car has coverd 58,000 miles, if one has started to go, will they all start to go now?

is it something that can easily be checked?

Yup, they tend to go at about 60K. Never seen any fail so bad the wheel falls off, so just run other side till it starts complaining.

Having said that my mpi's run over 70k and only 1 bearings gone since I've had it, just listen out for the tell tail sound.
