Had a bit of trouble convincing the boss at work to buy a Skoda, but after seeing it he is impressed.

I test drove a few petrol and diesel DSG and Manual but it takes a few hundred miles to get to know the car properly and get a handle on it.

I picked the car up from Simpsons in Preston who sourced the car for me on Thursday.(Finding anything other than basic spec was seeming quite difficult)

After doing around 500miles I am more than happy, after driving a Legacy B4 for the past four years I thought it might be a big change, but I am loving it. Don't think I have ever done 40 mpg before lol!

Just need to find something big to put in the massive boot, everything I put in looks so small.

Even looking forward to my drive to Birmingham and back tomorrow!

I really couldn't find anything else for the money that was as good!!

I really would be-grudge paying the extra for a Golf Gti, and getting a smaller boot!

Congratulations. Looks like you've got the exact same spec as me, but with the CR. :) How much was it if you don't mind my asking? I think I paid quite a premium to get mine with the right spec as opposed to one of the many bog standard spec cars.
