the only way to remap those siemens simos ecu's is to desolder the eeprom from the circuit board and solder in a new one, if you are doing a lot of development work on the ecu it's worth getting a chip socket soldered on so that the chips can be removed and refitted easily

That´s just what I thought. As told, I have one ecu that should be remapped, but I haven´t try it yet and actually haven´t had either possibility to open it to see if chip is already changed. If so, then this should be easier issue.

OK, I was just trying to help, Finland is a bit far to travel for an engine!! :o

yes, they have differen TDC triggers. MPI is on the top.spacer.png
