You need 4.3 l of oil to change it. I think it's 1 litre from max to min, but I'm not sure. I can't find it in the owners or Haynes Manual. I would add 0.5 l let it settle then recheck and top up if necessary. Remember to add the correct type of oil, 5W-40 that meets VW 505.01 spec, there's a list in a sticky thread in the Fabia section.
