No it doesn't. :thumbup:

A diesel car does not need a cat to pass the emissions test, as it's not tested, only smoke. I don't know about removing DPFs. However I have read a good post on another forum that states it may still fail. See Turbo Diesel Owners Club UK - Diesel Emissions and De-Cats

Just an update. I have just read a post on Seat Cupra.net about de catting and a Guy from Longlife Exhausts says it is illegal to remove cats on cars registered before 2001. Longlife would be fined if they were found out to do a decat to a car after this date!
