OEM Bluetooth interference

Featured Replies

Hi all, I have a 2007 vRS which I had OEM bluetooth retrofitted by a main dealer. Love the system, quality of sound is great while on the phone and love the fact its fully integrated (wish the RS had a multi function wheel though for menu navigation ease). However lately I seem to have an intermittent 'fault'....when making a call the system always says "the number is being dialled" (as is the norm) and then often but not all the time I get a very annoying high pitched noise which is often very loud and can last between 2 and 10 seconds before I start to get a ringing tone....any one else experienced this??? Any suggestions???

Are you using an iphone by any chance?

using a "blueberry" storm micky. Perhaps thats the problem? Is the phone signal interfering with the car kit? I never have any problems when im actually in conversation on a call though...

I have an Iphone. It used to do that sometimes aswell as yours, can be annoying alright. I'm now using a newer module and it doesn't do it with that. I think a few on here have had that problem also.
