Nightmare: back to original

Featured Replies

Ciao all, after getting used to my chippeduk fast road mapped Octy, I'm in the middle of an upgrade by chippeduk (thank you guys :thumbup:) as per Mike62 fueling information and temporarily - do hope - I'm back to original map.

I thought this would be anyway a sort of prove of the effects of the old fast road map compared to standad one:

- In city driving, it's hardly discernible but with original map you have to use way more your right foot to make it move;

- In highway this effect is even greater. There is more noise from the engine, car feels really heavy and sssllow. Take over is really hard in 6th and even 5th, I often have to shift gear down. I missed a good 20 Kph of speed on chunks I know well and, last but not least, consumption raised a lot. I mean, brisky driving, I passed from 11-12 l/100Km to 13.4 l/100Km :thumbdwn:!!!!! And was slower too :thumbdwn::irked:.

Really hope to wake up as soon as possible!
