Does anyone have any experience of the "new" Road Angel plus (the battery/ no wires one).

Had a good look at one today but slightly put off ny the 70's alarm clock looks ! plus it's a bit of a big bugger !!

I am on my 2nd Talex but am now totally fed up of their hopeless customer service.

...any alternatives worth a go ?

ive had a talex in the past and wasnt that impressed apart from being able to change the warning distance (the 500yds to 1000yds at over iirc 50mph was a good one). Have to admit the CS of talex this week has been bad, been trying to report a site that isnt on the database and cant get hold of anyone.
