Can't see why they wouldn't fit, they have the same braking systems.

Yep, they'll fit. Not that keen on EBC pads after bad experiences with their Greenstuff range. The reds are supposed to be better though.

I'd go for Pagid, Mintex or Tarox though personally, if DS2500s weren't available, which are my first choice. What do you consider 'resaonble' to pay for them?

is this done via vag-com, or does it require a physical workaround when using the ds2500 pads?

It can be turned off with VCDS or it may be possible to short the pins on the pad wear sensor to remove the warning.
