Fabia reversing bleeper

Featured Replies

How can I turn this nuisance off ? It's driving me mad.

Pull the connector of the "speaker" ?? Can be accessed by bending out the trim on the B-post..

Many thanks for the tip!! (what is the B-post?)

I forgot, you call it a pillar.. The A-pillar is the part of the cars body/steel structure on each side of the windscreen, the B-pillar is the one the driver/front passenger safety belt's upper and lower mount is bolted on. The C-pillar is the one behind the rear doors etc,etc..

Pulling of the connector will make the parking help ECU store a fault code, but that is nothing to worry about.

If the parking assistance on your car isn't working properly I'm sure a dealer could have a look at it and fix it for you? I have changed 3 of the sensors on my car, so I know how anoying the "beep" can be when it's not working the way it was intended..

Hope you get it sorted!

Go to the dealer, there has been a recall for the reversing sensors, there is a software fault with them.
