Any update on this post? You seem to have gone quiet. Did it get resolved?

Sorry for not updating. It did get resolved - in a fashion. It was p/x'd against an 09 plate 2.0tdi. As the problem couldn't be fixed after many hours in the workshop, I was offered a very generous trade in. ;)

Can't praise the dealers, and Skoda UK, highly enough for their help :thumbup:
