Ashby Folville car meet.

Just got back from the Ashby Folville car meet. It's on every second Tuesday of the month and there is a MASSIVE array of cars and bikes there. Just seen an 09 plate Ferrari California in White, many Porsches, Lotus', TVR's, ford GTs, 4 brand new Nissan GTRs and LOADS of older cars.

There is definatly something for everyone there.

It costs £1 to park and there is a pub there with lots of foodstalls.

Ashby Folville is between Leicester and Melton.

If you live nearbye you HAVE to go.

At least 7 thousand people can't be wrong each month.

Forgot to say about the thousand or so motorbikes there too.

i,ve been a few times it really is worth the effort, last meet a 09 plate ferrari 599 soft top parked next to a mk 2 escort bda rally car on a cricket pitch in a small leicestershire village, you just could,nt make it up pricey

I live in Melton and this venue is one of the best unofficial/ official gatherings to be found. Well worth a visit but do go early as there is an awful lot to see. if you don.t live local there are a few good B and Bs around the area as well as the national chane of travel lodge, premier inn etc in the area i.e. Leicester. The place is out in the countryside and isa very pleasant drive. If you have a classic or interesting wagon/bike you will be welcomed with great gusto.
